Blood and Tears movie poster

Blood and Tears

In my Grade 11 Communication and Technology class, alongside 2 classmates, we created a short film called “Blood and Tears,” about 3 friends who break into their school. One of them is murdered, and now the two friends are left stuck in the school with a murderer. This was such a fun project, and it definitely taught me a lot about making a short film in an organized and effective way. Click on the photo and check it out!

The Teacher's Lounge

The Teacher's Lounge

The Teachers Lounge was a podcast created by me and a school peer, where we both interviewed teachers about their lives inside the school and outside of school. This is the trailer I planned, recorded and edited, targeted to a young audience of students in order to get them excited about our school’s first podcast. I am really proud of my transitions and the final result. Click on the photo and check it out!

Foley Project

Foley Project

This is a Foley assignment I completed for my Communications and Technology class. In the video, you can see the original clip, followed by my attempt to recreate the sound effects as accurately as I could. In the end, you can see the creative ways my partner and I achieved this task. This was such a fun and challenging project, and I am really proud of the result. Click on the photo and check it out!

Scribbles short film

Scribbles

This is a short film called “Scribbles” that I made for my university applications. It is a story about being haunted by your own thoughts and learning how to live with them. It was created by me based on my own experiences, after struggling with a lot of overthinking and insecurity. I hope people can relate to the story and find the message comforting. It was my first time experimenting with colour grading and it was such a cool lesson. Click on the photo and check it out!

Hockey game photo

Hockey Series

In my Grade 11 Broadcasting class, I had the opportunity to go to a hockey game and take photos and videos of the game. It was my first time using a long-focus lens and my first time taking photos of a hockey game. It taught me a lot about lighting in closed environments and the importance of frame rate in a fast-paced game. I realized how hard it is to take photos of those important moments, but overall I am happy with how they turned out.

Toronto photo

Toronto Series

On May 14th, 2026 went to Toronto with my Communication and Technologies class, and I was supposed to capture photos of Toronto culture, architecture, food, people and anything I found interesting. I loved finding nature in a metropolitan city and the beauty in simple things. I am proud of the end product.
